GYRO – Knots Policy

1. What Are Knots?

Knots (“KN”) are virtual points used within GYRO to unlock features, participate in competitions, and access eligible rewards. Knots are not real currency, do not represent monetary value, and are not a financial product, stored-value facility, or electronic money under Australian law.

Redemption scope. Knots may only be redeemed for bonus codes (“Partner Codes”) issued by authorised partners and made available exclusively through GYRO’s official channels (the in-app store and the official GYRO website). Partner Codes may then be used with the relevant partner subject to that partner’s terms and availability.

Knots cannot be exchanged for cash, gift cards, or for goods/services outside the above official redemption flow, and GYRO will not recognise any redemption or sale attempted via unofficial sources. Unauthorised offers are potentially fraudulent; see Official Sources and Third-Party Sales (Section 5A).

Unless we state otherwise in writing, Knots are non-transferable, have no cash-out option, and redemption transactions are final once a Partner Code is issued. GYRO may modify or discontinue available redemption options at any time.

2. How Knots Are Earned

Users can currently earn Knots (KN) in the following ways:

Knots may also be purchased directly and exclusively through the official GYRO app, using the in-app purchase system provided by Apple or Google.

In the future, GYRO may expand the range of ways users can earn Knots, adjust reward values, or introduce new promotional systems.
All Knots earning and purchase mechanisms are managed solely through GYRO’s official in-app platform — Knots obtained or offered elsewhere are not valid and will not be recognised.

3. Using Knots

Knots can be used within the GYRO app to:

• Unlock premium quizzes, challenges, or competitions;
• Purchase in-app items such as extra attempts or achievements;
• Participate in tournaments or ranking leagues;
• Redeem partner rewards (if available through Knot Exchange).

Knots cannot be transferred, sold, traded, gifted, or pooled between users, unless an official in-app feature allows it.

4. Validity and Expiration

• Knots remain valid for as long as your account is active and compliant with the Terms of Use.
• GYRO may expire Knots after 12 months of inactivity (no logins or transactions).
• Before expiration, users will receive a notification email or in-app alert at least 30 days in advance.
  Expired Knots cannot be reinstated.

5. Fraud, Abuse, and Misuse

Any attempt to manipulate the Knot system, including but not limited to:

• Using multiple or fake accounts,
• Exploiting software bugs,
• Auto-farming or automation scripts,
• Collusion in competitions, or
• False reporting of achievements

may result in immediate forfeiture of Knots, account suspension, or permanent ban.
GYRO reserves the right to adjust Knot balances if suspicious activity is detected.

5A. Official Sources and Third-Party Sales

Knots can only be earned, purchased, or redeemed through official GYRO channels, namely:

• The GYRO mobile application (downloaded from Apple App Store or Google Play), and
• The official GYRO website or communications explicitly issued by GYRO Team (for example, domains ending in @gyro.team).

GYRO does not authorise any external websites, apps, resellers, or individuals to sell or distribute Knots.
Any claim, offer, or advertisement outside our official platforms — including social-media groups, unofficial websites, or “discount” sales — is unauthorised and potentially fraudulent.

Users should:

• Never provide payment, login credentials, or personal details to third parties claiming to sell Knots;
• Verify authenticity through official GYRO channels and newsletters;
• Report any suspected fraud to  info@gyro.team immediately.

GYRO is not responsible for any loss, damage, or unauthorised transactions made through unofficial sources.
Only Knots obtained directly from GYRO or its verified partners will be recognised as valid.

6. Refunds and Reversals

Knots are non-refundable, non-exchangeable, and non-redeemable for cash.
If you cancel a subscription or receive a refund for a related purchase, any Knots awarded through that purchase may be deducted from your account.

Where required by Australian Consumer Law (ACL), we may re-credit Knots or provide equivalent access if technical errors or service failures occur.

7. Partner Rewards and Exchanges

Through the Knot Exchange feature, GYRO may allow users to redeem Knots for partner benefits (e.g., training discounts, merchandise, or other rewards).

• All redemptions are subject to partner availability and specific terms;
• GYRO does not guarantee continued access to any particular partner program;
• Once Knots are exchanged, the transaction is final;
• Fraudulent or abusive redemption will void the reward and may result in account action.

GYRO is not responsible for the quality, accuracy, or delivery of third-party partner offers.

8. Account Termination and Knots

If your account is suspended, terminated, or deleted (voluntarily or by GYRO):

• All unused Knots will be forfeited immediately;
• You will not be entitled to any cash or credit compensation;
• Re-activation or restoration of Knots is not guaranteed.

9. Modifications to Knots System

GYRO may modify, suspend, or discontinue the Knots system at any time for technical, operational, or legal reasons.
Where possible, we will notify users at least 30 days in advance of material changes.

Such changes may include:

• Adjusting Knot values;
• Altering earning or redemption rates;
• Introducing new usage tiers or limitations.

Your continued use of GYRO after such notice constitutes acceptance of the revised Knots Policy.

10. Legal and Tax Notices

• Knots do not accrue interest and are not financial instruments.
• They cannot be used for gambling or monetary speculation.
• You are solely responsible for any tax implications arising from participation in reward programs.
